Before Gamescom 2022, NEXON released the complete trailer for The First Descendant, their forthcoming third-person cooperative action RPG shooter. The full-length trailer builds on the excitement generated by its tantalizing teaser by revealing more information about the game’s dynamic co-op play, gigantic grappling-hook action, and unbelievably massive boss monsters in a convincing sci-fi fantasy setting.
This year’s Gamescom Online will include The First Descendant, and a Steam beta for the next looter-shooter is set for October 20–26, 2022.
The exciting four-player co-op fights are displayed in the high-quality graphics created by Unreal Engine 5 as the Descendants fight Karel and his army of alien invaders. In the clip, Bunny, a lightning-fast nuke with electrical attacks, Vanessa, Lepic (a flexible fighter with powerful weaponry built into his arm), and Ajax (the tank with space-warping abilities) link together to combat enormous alien bosses.
Additional characters with distinctive skill sets can also be observed in the action, adding to its dynamic nature. The monsters are vulnerable to specific player skills, weaponry, and grappling hook strikes that can cling to and remove bodily parts. Each boss has a distinctive appearance and fighting style.
The First Descendant Steam beta will begin on October 20, 2022, at 00:00 PDT and last through October 26, 2022, at 23:59 PDT, according to NEXON Games. There will be a total of 10 playable characters available in the future beta; keep tuned for more information on character classes. Players who are anxious to try out the new looter-shooter can add it to their wishlists right away and register for the upcoming Steam beta.
