Starfield won’t be included at the Xbox Games Showcase despite Xbox having a busy week planned. One of the largest games of 2023 will have its very own special live stream before its forthcoming launch in September rather than sharing the stage. Since Bethesda claims to have a tonne to give about its first original IP in decades, Starfield, more information will be made public at this showcase.
On June 11, immediately following the conclusion of the Xbox Showcase, this webcast will begin. There are currently no set times for this broadcast because Xbox hasn’t specified how long it will go. If past Xbox Showcases are any indication, you should plan on the event lasting 60 to 90 minutes, which would place the Starfield Direct presentation at the earliest around 11 AM PT / 2 PM ET / 6 PM UTC.
Throughout 2022 and 2023, Bethesda has steadily revealed more about Starfield’s themes, music, and graphic direction, but specific details on how the game will play and what you’ll be doing inside that galaxy have been few.
What we do know is that the game contains some strange post-sex conversation, that players will be able to visit over 1,000 planets throughout the game, and that Starfield is more of a serious RPG than you might imagine, according to game director Todd Howard. Starfield will also allow players to customize the look and performance of their guns and spacecraft, as well as build their outposts, though there has been very little footage of this so far.
