It has been among the most expensive signings for Real Madrid ever to receive the great jewel of the European football and he has signed the club for six seasons at present.
Reports state that the signing of Bellingham got finalised on Monday, June 5 in London, in the offices of his representatives, who gave the final push to an operation that Real Madrid have been gently working on with the player and his father, Mark Bellingham, winning the battle against Manchester City and Liverpool.
This past Monday, the final details of the contract were finalised with the player, while Real Madrid exchanged the last documents with Dortmund to complete the transfer, which was initialled with the German side on Wednesday, June 7.
Jude Bellingham has now arrived at Real Madrid to strengthen their midfield which is a position where the club has never backed-off. Casemiro, Toni Kroos and Luka Modric marked an era and Eduardo Camavinga, Fede Valverde, Aurelien Tchoaumeni and now Bellingham have been chosen to take the baton from the Bermuda triangle.
In this first season, Kroos and Modric will continue to play a pivotal role, but with the youngsters gaining weight in the team. Bellingham arrives as the star and franchise player of the future.
