Paris Saint Germain should have looked into Neymar’s ankle injury sooner, but negligence in the same will now lead the striker to miss the remainder of the present campaign. Reports state that the club did nothing to him, considering Neymar was the record signing for the Ligue 1 giants. The Brazilian international has been ruled as he will undergo ankle surgery.
The footballer has been hampered by several injuries in the present season, and due to the same, he is set to be out of action for a long time. Reports from the L’Equipe state that PSG discovered an issue with their player Neymar’s ankle during his medical examination when they signed him initially the club, however, they decided not to operate it immediately. The report also added that several orthopaedic specialists are of the view that this particular decision has led to the string of issues that Neymar bore with his ankle.

PSG said in a statement that the Brazilian international has had multiple instances of his right ankle instability in recent times. Following his sprain a few weeks back, the medical staff of the club recommended a ligament repair operation for avoiding a significant risk of recurrence.
The club also stated that all of the experts consulted confirmed this need. The surgery on the footballer’s ankle is going to take place at Aspetar Hospital in Doha, Qatar. Several months will be taken before he returns to collective training.
Indeed Neymar’s absence from the club is going to hamper as he is one of the main players of PSG and even one of the GOATS of the present generation. Though he will be seen on the sidelines and will be cheering his team, and sharing his experience. And the club will definitely not repeat the same mistake for any other player, which will lead him to out of action.
