To commemorate the upcoming men’s tournament in Qatar, FIFA 23 will receive free World Cup-themed content. EA Sports has now outlined what to anticipate. On November 8, FIFA Mobile will receive the free World Cup update, and on November 9, the Xbox, PlayStation, and PC versions of the game will also be available. However, Nintendo Switch users receive nothing. The “legacy edition” of FIFA 23 on the Switch includes all of the modes and gameplay elements from FIFA 22.

Players can participate in matches as any of the 32 nations that made the tournament with the World Cup update. Players can alter history, switch teams, and change groups. Players can compete against other people in a World Cup-style tournament in online tournament mode.

Following that, FIFA World Cup Live, a “live experience,” will be made available by EA starting on November 21. The teams’ rosters for each game in this mode will be modified based on real-world lineups during the Group and Knockout stages of the actual World Cup. The final day of the men’s World Cup is December 18, therefore this continues till then.

Additionally, there is a mode called Your FIFA World Cup where users select a team, a “live starting point” from the World Cup’s past or present, and proceed with the team from there. Additionally, between November 11 and December 23, EA will roll out fresh FIFA Ultimate Team campaigns. In addition, players may anticipate seeing real team uniforms, World Cup-themed match balls, stadiums, and commentators.
