Lionel Messi is set for his Inter Miami debut within a month’s time. His first game for David Beckham’s club is scheduled on 21st July against Cruz Azul.

The game is in the leagues Cup, a new competition that makes MLS and Liga MX teams against each other. The excitement for Messi joining his new club is on and fans can’t wait for his debut game for Miami.
The tickets for the game are already sold out. There is even discussion that the resale price is going through the roof. In this black market, the price range for the tickets is between 1,319 to 6000 dollars.
There’s no official announcement or final contract details from Inter, but they’re expecting the star to make his debut on the said date.
What did Mas say?
Jorge Mas, the club’s majority shareholder, has said,
“I think there will always be a before and after Messi when we talk about sport in the United States.…I have a very, very strong belief that we can create in North America and the United States, if not the best league, one of the two best leagues in the world.”
According to the Inter Miami owner, Messi’s arrival will have a huge impact on MLS.
Mas even said,
“Messi is going to be the biggest ambassador and recruiter in the history of Major League Soccer.
His very presence in this league is going to be attracting talent of all ages and all levels. It is, I think, a tremendous and unprecedented opportunity ahead of us.”
