The founder and CEO of Xiaomi, Lei Jun, declared in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter) today that the Xiaomi 14 series will launch globally on February 25.
Xiaomi 14 Series will officially launch globally on February 25
The post also featured a preview picture of a lens, implying that the focal point will be the cameras on the devices. The Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, the two models of the Xiaomi 14 series, were already made available in China the previous year.
There will be three models in the Xiaomi 14 series: the 14, Pro, and Ultra. With a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro have already been released in China. Therefore, at debut, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is going to be the most anticipated product.
Recently, the model number 24030PN60G of the suspected Xiaomi 14 Ultra smartphone was discovered on Geekbench.
In addition to the TUV certifications showcasing the display requirements, the Xiaomi 14 series was certified for both the EU and Indian markets, indicating that the phones would indeed launch in India!
Similar to the Xiaomi 14 Pro, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have a 2K AMOLED LTPO display, up to 16GB of RAM, 1TB of storage, HyperOS based on Android 14, and a ton of other awesome little details for a flagship-level experience.
The global versions of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to have features similar to those of their Chinese equivalents. The Pro variant in China comes with a 6.73-inch 2K LTPO screen, up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage.
We should expect Xiaomi’s flagship products to be slightly more expensive in other nations as these prices are likely to be changed for the international market.
