Google Pixel 7 Series is Expensive
Google said in a statement claimed that it is Priced at an MRP of Rs 59,999 for the Pixel 7 and Rs 84,999 for the Pixel 7 Pro, both devices are equipped with Android 13 out of the box and are powered by Google’s next-generation Tensor G2 processor. A Google spokeswoman responded when asked why the Pixel series costs more in certain countries than others: “We base local pricing on a variety of elements, such as regional taxes and customs fees. We think the cost accurately reflects the exceptional quality of our premium phones, the top-tier hardware specifications, and the industry-leading AI software experience.”
Google hasn’t revealed where it manufactures its mobile devices. Based on a test utilizing a typical Pixel user’s battery usage profile, which includes a mix of call, data, standby, and use of other functions, Google claims that the Pixel has all-day battery life.

Pricing is a Significant Factor
Faisal Kawoosa, the chief analyst at TechArc, stated that whether or not phones are manufactured in India, businesses still need to produce them for the country, and pricing is a significant factor in this.
Kawoosa said that to make a splash and generate sufficient demand to produce phones there in the future, the Google Pixel should have been priced appropriately for the Indian market. The affordability of 5G will determine how widely it may be used. He asserted that Google must aggressively pursue Pixel and make significant efforts to increase its recognition and visibility.
According to Kawoosa, if Google executes this strategy properly, Pixel will face intense competition in the high-end Android market with Samsung and OnePlus. During the most recent holiday season, the premium smartphone market has experienced tremendous growth.
During the eight-day festive season sale, which ended on September 30, e-commerce company Flipkart saw a 70% increase in sales of luxury mobile phones. Over 44% of consumers of premium mobile phones came from Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns, and premium mobile phones costing Rs 20,000 and higher made up approximately 50% of all mobile sales.
