WWE previously announced that the biggest sports entertainment is going to host an event in India in September 2023. The announcement previously came from the CEO of the company, i.e., Nick Khan, that the promotion world would organize a live event in India in September 2023. However, Nick Khan didn’t mention anything more than that. However, at present, the WWE India has been officially confirmed. Check out detailed regarding the same.

Date: Saturday, September 9, 2023.
Location: Hyderabad.
The date and location of the upcoming WWE event in India have been confirmed by Sportskeeda Wrestling.
WWE India Events
Though, this won’t be for the first time, that WWE is organizing an event in India, as they have done this before several times. The first event was held in 1996 when WWE used to be World Wrestling Federation. The name of the event was ‘WWF Tour of India‘ and it took place in Mumbai, Maharastra. Also, the main event of the show featured a WWF World Heavyweight Championship match between Bret Hart vs Tatanka.
Apart from that, WWE held the ‘WWE Raw Tour of India‘ in 2002, which was a three-day event that continued from November 22, 2002, to November 24, 2002. The event took place in three different cities and featured three different main events on each night.
Following that, WWE held ‘WWE Live Tour India 2016‘, and ‘WWE Live India Supershow‘. Also, in 2021, WWE organized a special episode for the Indian audience, called the ‘WWE Superstar Spectacle‘, which was aired on the Republic Day of India.
Also, WWE has done several promotional tours to India and now at present, they are all set to come to Indian again. It will indeed be very interesting to see how the company conducts the events and how prepares the match card for the WWE India universe.
