    Winter transfer plans for PSG

Le Parisien, the club’s ambition is to improve the entire squad across all sectors of the pitch. French Daily has its say: Paris Saint Germain will do three deals: one in defense, a center-back, another one in mid-field, typically someone who’s able to bring physicality to the squad, another pick in the attack, a striker able to play as a target man.

The club isn’t interested in delaying their contracts further. The aim is to keep everything in the pile and handy before the window opens to speed up the transfers. That’s why they have already started getting in touch with teams of the players they’re interested in signing.

    What about the pivot position?

A lot of controversies have been created regarding the pivot position. Kylian Mbappe even vented on his Instagram post for having to play in that particular position. This is a prominent reason why PSG would look forward to signing an attacker who’s eligible to play in that position. Mbappe wrote during the first international break of the season,

“Here (national team) I have a lot more freedom than at PSG. The coach knows that there is a no 9 like Olivier Giroud and I can move and go into space. In Paris it’s different. They ask me to play as a Pivot.”

A difficult test in the Champions League

    According to French Daily,

“It is possible that in this sector, the champions league group stage has shown that there is a lack of an impact player, capable of disrupting the intensity of the audience.”

A standard test awaits PSG in the Champions League. In the last 16’s completion, they will face Bayern Munich.
