Like always arguably the greatest of the present generation, Virat Kohli, has made a sensational comeback in test cricket by scoring a brilliant 186 against Australia in the last test of the Border Gavaskar series. He has fulfilled the long awaited test ton that came even against Australia’s decent bowling lineup.

    Brilliant innings by Virat Kohli

Though situations were in favor of Virat Kohli when he came to bat, the hard luck is where he got defeated every time. However, things weren’t the same as in recent times, and he was able to turn the tables precisely. His innings included 15 fours and got out at the strike rate of 51.

The Indian openers set a decent stage for the upcoming batters, and Virat Kohli ensured he uses the full of it. Rohit gave a good start along with Gill who scored a ton too. Pujara also played a sensible innings, and then Kohli built his game with the rest of the players, with his partnership with Axar being the most effective. Axar also played a good knock of 79 that included 5 fours and 4 sixes.

    The match

The match most probably seems like a draw, if Indian doesn’t do something like miracle. If the men in blues succeeds in limiting Australia withing the trail run, or even a but more than that, the game will be India’s. However it doesn’t look like to happen on this good pitch, where both the teams batted for a significant amount if time. Whatever India plans to do in case if winning the match, it should be done in a very short amount of time. This has become serious as India’s win counts on their qualification to the WTC final. Else they need to look for the test game between Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
