Following a strong start to the calendar year for new video game releases, March 2023 keeps the year on track with a jam-packed schedule of new titles. This month sees the release of a slew of major blockbusters, ranging from sports-related titles like WWE 2K23 to period action games like Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. Importantly, Peppa Pig: World Adventures will be released in March 2023.

So here are the Games to look for in March 2023

    Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is Team Ninja’s latest action RPG (Nioh, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin), and it’s worth a look if you enjoy the company’s fast-paced take on Dark Souls. In the adventure, you play an unnamed soldier battling historical figures and demons in ancient China.

    Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania

In Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania, players will travel to Dracula’s Castle with Alucard and Richter Belmont by their sides, fighting to overcome the castle’s and its surroundings’ many frights. With new enemies to defeat, a gothic realm to explore, and plenty of vampiric goodness, this DLC pack is the ideal way to get started with Dead Cells – and a welcome return to 2D action for the long-dead Castlevania franchise.

Paranormasight: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo

You play as Shogo, an office worker who decides to investigate the mythical ‘Seven Mysteries of Honjo’ as a joke. This quest quickly unravels as strange deaths occur and the mysteries begin to take on a life of their own. Those who enjoy classic horror stories and/or visual novels should keep Paranormasight in mind.

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse

Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse has been remastered for modern audiences, with this re-release reintroducing players to all of the classic horror photography title’s haunts and scares. The game follows Ruka Minazuki, a young girl who returns to the site of a traumatic incident to solve a mystery and put ancient ghosts to rest.

    Clash: Artifacts of Chaos

Clash: Artifacts of Chaos is an action-fantasy adventure in which players travel through lands inhabited by hulking beasts in search of martial arts glory. The game is a sequel to the first two Zeno Clash games, and it expands on the exploration and combat of these adventures within a new world.

    DC’s Justice League: Cosmic Chaos

In the game, you’ll take on the roles of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman as they team up to take down Mr. Mxyzptlk, the mischievous elf-like DC character who causes havoc wherever he goes. The game is technically aimed at younger children, but it could be a fun adventure for people of all ages.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon is an action-adventure game that follows the witch Bayonetta as a child. Cereza and the Lost Demon, unlike previous Bayonetta games, has a whimsical, colorful aesthetic that speaks to a brighter world. While the game remains action-heavy, with some sequences appearing to be just as violent as in the main Bayonetta games, the imaginative re-interpretation of PlatinumGames’ beloved world also contains a genuine sense of delight.

    Peppa Pig: World Adventures

Peppa Pig: World Adventures is a significant sequel to My Friend Peppa Pig, and while it’s easy to mock this adaptation, it’s still one of the month’s most important game releases. Children are rarely catered to in today’s video game world, but titles like Peppa Pig: World Adventures can help them feel included and learn as they play.
