Victor Rodriguez has signed for Odisha FC for the coming season. The ISL club has confirmed his arrival on their official website. The Spaniard played for La Liga side Elche in the 20/21 season and has completed his medical in Barcelona ahead of the transfer.
“Odisha FC can confirm that the Club has completed the signing of Spanish midfielder, Víctor Rodríguez Romero, after the player successfully cleared his medical in Barcelona,” the Kalinga Warriors wrote on their official website.

Having finished seventh in the previous season, Odisha are determined to build on their success last year. As a result, they have signed several important players in the market in preparation for the coming campaign. Victor Rodriguez joins Saul and Pedro Martin as new Spanish signings.
The midfielder has proven himself in leagues all over the world. He was named the MVP of the MLS Cup Final 2019, and has made more than 50 appearances in the MLS. He played for Seattle Sounders in the USA, after coming out of the FC Barcelona academy.
During the course of his career, he made 140 appearances in LaLiga, 45 appearances in LaLiga2 and 13 appearances in the prestigious Copa Del Rey. His experience in some of the top leagues in the world will help propel the team forward this season and potentially get the much needed goals from midfield.
