India was batting in the first over when Suresh Raina scored a century and scripted history. His ton helped the men in blue post a total of 186/5. He mustered 101 runs off 60 deliveries that included nine fours and five sixes at a strike rate of 168.33. The South African team could score only 172/5 and India won by 14 runs. Suresh Raina was the first Indian to score a century and third in the world after Chris Gayle and Brendon McCullum. In a total of seven editions, he's the only Indian to score a ton in T20 World Cup. On the other hand, run machine Virat Kohli's highest score was 89 against West Indies at Mumbai Wankhede Stadium in the semi-final of the 2016 edition.
