Summer Games Fest 2023: The biggest event of summer will be here soon

In addition to Keighley’s other programme that wraps off the year, Geoff Keighley’s Summer Games Fest has grown to be one of the greatest gaming events on the calendar and has filled the gap left by Not-E3 season. The 6,000-seat YouTube Theatre in Los Angeles will host this year’s Summer Game Fest. Tickets for the in-person event are currently on sale, while online viewing is free for everybody.

If past years are any indication of what to anticipate, then get ready for a lot of game trailers, a few debuts, and quick developer interviews. Particularly in light of the Elden Ring incident at the Game Awards last year, there’ll likely be more security in the area around the stage as well. The first gameplay for the upcoming brawler Mortal Kombat 1 and Alan Wake 2 will both be showcased during Summer Games Fest, according to developers Remedy Interactive and NetherRealm Studios.
