The technology giant Apple has started its ” Self Service Repair” program, and this program will allow the user to finish their repairs through the new online store that has been dedicated to some parts and tools.
This program will provide customers who are also comfortable with this plan of finishing their repairs by accessing Apple’s original parts, tools, and manuals, and it has been beginning with the iPhone 12 and iPhone 134 lineups. It has been introducing red in phases and including more repairs, and also supported the devices over time.
The chief operating officer of Apple, Jeff Williams, said:
“Creating greater access to Apple genuine parts gives our customers even more choice if a repair is needed. In the past three years, Apple has nearly doubled the number of service locations with the access to Apple genuine parts, tools, and training, and now, we’re providing an option for those who wish to complete their own repairs.”
It is reported that the first phase will definitely concentrate on the iPhones’ most commonly serviced parts like battery, display, and camera, but there is more kind of repairs that will also be available in the next year.
