The Saints Row reboot’s complete PC specifications have been made public by developer Deep Silver Volition. If you’re OK with running it at 60 frames per second in full HD, the system requirements aren’t too onerous, but anyone who wants to upgrade to 1440p or 4K will need some fairly powerful gear, especially if they want to play it at 3,840 x 2,160.

A dated Core i3-3240 or Ryzen 3 1200, GTX 970 or Radeon RX 480, 4GB of VRAM, and 8GB of memory are required to run 1080p@30fps at the very least. In place of DirectX 12 and a solid-state drive, this is the sole setting that supports DirectX 11 and 50GB of hard drive capacity.

The GPUs change to a GTX 1070 or Radeon RX 5700, 8GB of VRAM, and a startling 12GB of RAM when the resolution is increased to 1080p@60fps. The CPUs also change to a Core i7-6700K or Ryzen 5 1500X. Additionally, it is advised that the 50GB of game data be kept on an SSD.

The game’s functionality for ray tracing for indirect lighting significantly enhances the previously mediocre graphics. But because Saints Row does not support AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution or NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Super Sampling, it comes at a huge performance cost that cannot be made up for. Therefore, we choose to disable it for our PC playthrough (equipped with 12700KF CPU and 3090 GPU).
