Nintendo fans have been waiting for a fresh Nintendo Direct event for quite some time, especially now that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has been out for almost a month and the rest of 2023 seems relatively barren in terms of first-party Switch exclusive games.
According to leaks, a Nintendo Direct event might take place as soon as this week, and while the specifics are unknown, it could be the site of some major revelations.
Pyoro, the Twitter leaker who accurately revealed Everybody 1-2 Switch and Sonic Superstars, has made big claims about a probable Nintendo Direct presentation this week. Nintendo will use its next Nintendo Direct session, according to Pyoro, to introduce the long-rumored new 2D Super Mario Bros. game as well as a remake of a famous SNES title.
