Kylian Mbappe yet to commit to Real Madrid transfer in 2024

Kylian Mbappe has not yet communicated to PSG that he will be signing for Real Madrid. The forward is out of a contract at the end of the season, and has not taken the €80 million loyalty bonus from the French club. Amidst all the rumours that the forward has decided to sign for Real Madrid, there is no concrete update on the matter as of yet. 

However, Real Madrid and their dressing room is confident that the move will finally happen in the summer. And if that happens, it will be for a much lower salary than was offered to Mbappe in 2024. 

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid in 2024 remains uncertain 

The Frenchman was linked with Los Blancos two years ago, with his contract set to expire. But, he was convinced at the last minute by PSG President Nasser Al Khelaifi and French President Emmanuel Macron to remain at the club. And while many Madridistas were left fuming at the last minute snub, they could yet find Kylian Mbappe in a white shirt next season. 

If that happens, Real Madrid will have some of the biggest young stars in the same squad. Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde, Arda Guler, Fran Garcia and Eduardo Camavinga have all been recruited as part of the future project and Mbappe has been promised as the final piece of the puzzle for a long time. 

One of Mbappe’s most significant achievements came in the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia. He played a pivotal role in helping France secure their second World Cup title. Mbappe scored four goals in the tournament, including one in the final against Croatia, and was awarded the Best Young Player of the tournament.

He also became the youngest French goalscorer in a World Cup tournament during the 2018 edition, breaking the record set by Michel Platini in 1982.

The forward also set the record for the fastest hat-trick in Ligue 1 during a match against Lyon in March 2020. He scored three goals in just 22 minutes.
