French Star footballer Karim Benzema has created history by registering 300 goals for his present club Real Madrid. He has had 301 goals for the La Liga giants till now, and he achieved the 300 goal landmark in their clash against Valencia at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The goals scored by Benzema were his 19th and 20th appearances against Los Che, which has further marked his name in the list of Real Madrid legends following his 13 seasons with the club.
In these 13 campaigns of his with Los Blancos, he breached 30 goals barrier a couple of times, and now he is on the track to repeat the same for the third time, and in this term, he might beat his previous record which is one on the best scoring campaigns in 2011/12, when he registered 32 goals.
Benzema on the verge to beat others
Benzema has already 301 goals for the Spanish Capital and is looking forward to closing the gap between his registered goals and the individuals who are ahead of him. He is 7 goals short of Alfredo Di Stefano, which is 308, and yet to score 23 goals to beat Raul Gonzalez who has 323 goals for Real Madrid.
However, there is still a long way to go to beat Cristiano Ronaldo who has 451 goals for Madrid. But if Benzema continues to play in his current form, the day of he being the highest goal scorer of the club is not far away.
Efficiency by the Frenchman
Karim Benzema is in tremendous form and has 403 goals in his pocket overall. The only Frenchman who has more goals than Benzema is Thierry Henry having 411 goals registered. However based on the current performances of Benzema, he is going to be the highest goal scorer for France soon.
