This year’s update will be more gradual than last year’s iPhone 12, emphasizing improvements to the processor, camera and display, according to an informed source who requested anonymity because the plan was not disclosed. Apple plans to update all current models, including the regular 5.4 and 6.1-inch versions and the 6.1 and 6.7-inch Pro models. The codenamed D16, D17, D63 and D64 phones are expected to launch in September, earlier than last October, in part because the supply chain is on the mend.

At least a new version of it will contain equipment with an LTPO (Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) display, which can change its refresh rate according to the display content.
