According to sources, Apple has required suppliers to produce as many as 90 million next-generation iPhones this year. This is a significant increase in iPhone shipments in comparison to last year, 2020.
The Cupertino, California-based technology giant has maintained a stable level in the past few years. From the release of the equipment to the end of the year, the initial operating volume is 75 million units.
