It has been almost seven years since Apple introduced the record launch of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. The company’s iPhone-12 series has reached a new shipping milestone to match the previous two models. The iPhone-12 series set a record, surpassing the iPhone 11 series to in two months. The latest data from Counterpoint Research emphasized that multiple updates to the iPhone-12 series have led to its popularity.

For iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, the biggest selling point should be a larger screen. In iPhone-12 series, we get 5G modem, better performance, energy efficient chipset, larger screen, an improved camera, and more. There is a lack of chargers and headphones which may be a deal breaker for some.

Counterpoint Research also noted that between the launch of the iPhone 11 and 12 series, customer preferences have changed. The iPhone-12 Pro Max is the first choice, as it has accumulated a 29% market share. However, iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 25% market share. The iPhone 12 Pro Max starts at $ 1,099. The increase in shipments of this model means an increase in the company’s revenue, which promotes the revenue supercycle.
