There are very few people who have been able to score centuries in all formats of cricket, including Test, ODI, and T20. Recently the young blood Shubhman Gill, who has been in quite good form for a long now, has secured this achievement and has been included in the list of elite players to have achieved the same. Overall there are 5 Indians, including Gill, to give centuries in all formats of the game. Check out their names below.
The first one to achieve the record of having centuries in all formats of the game as an Indian is Suresh Raina. Raina played since 2006 and retired last year in 2022 and served as a very important cricket in the Indian cricket team, especially in the 2011 World Cup, efficiently playing the role of a finisher alongside MS Dhoni.
Next in this list comes the obvious name of Virat Kohli. Though Kohli has marked his name in World Cricket in all the formats, he was yet to get a century in T20 till last year. Last year, in the Asia Cup, he broke his century drought in the format by scoring the first against Afghanistan.
Talking about centuries scored by Indians on all formats and not taking Hitman’s name doesn’t look familiar. Rohit Sharma has multiple centuries in tests and especially in ODI cricket, where he is going to reach 10,000 runs soon. Apart from that, he has 4 T20 international centuries, which is the most by anyone in the world.
Next on the list of Indians who have scored centuries in all formats comes the name of KL Rahul. He has been playing for India since 2014 and has established himself as a proficient player in all formats.
Lastly, as mentioned before in the article, Shubhman Gill is the youngest player to reach this fit, and he is even the youngest player to do so, scoring centuries in all the formats in a very short span of time. He has been in the form of his life, and that is going to benefit team India in the upcoming World Cup too.
