One more member of the Indian squad tested positive for the COVID-19 virus after Rishabh Pant. And the three members of the Indian squad has been quarantined. As per the protocols, Wriddhiman Saha is being forced to isolate as close contact with the COVID-19 positive members. As per ANI, the Indian cricket team squad’s throwdown specialist Dayanand Garani has tested COVID-19 positive.

Speaking to ANI, sources in the know of developments said: “Yes Dayananda has tested positive, but luckily he wasn’t around too many members of the team. Saha unfortunately will have to isolate as he was a close contact. Hopefully he returns negative tests too as Rishabh is also currently down and a subsequent test will give more clarity.”

These two players will not play in the upcoming matches of India’s tour of England. These players will be replaced by other players.
