Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2: Here’s everything we know about

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 is only a few days away, with all in-game signage indicating that Season 1 will end on March 8. And, as is customary, Epic is keeping its cards close to its chest for the time being, with no Season 2 announcements.

This season will end on March 8, which means the actual last day will be March 9–the stated end date for a season is usually the last full day for every region, with any potential season-ending live events and server downtime taking place the next day, and the start of the new season taking place the day after that.

On March 9, Fortnite will go offline for the Season 2 update, after which Chapter 4 Season 2 will begin on March 10.

This date was essentially confirmed in the 23.50 update on the Cipher quests page in your quests tab. On that page, there is a note that says “A signal has been detected with a looping encrypted message inside that reads 0.3.1.0.2.0.2.3. What could it mean?” It denotes the likely release date of Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 as 3/10/2023.

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 appears to include a crossover with the massively popular anime/manga series Attack on Titan. Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 included a wide range of skins for players to earn through the Battle Pass or purchase in the shop, including crossovers with everything from The Witcher to My Hero Academia.

The Fortnite anime crossovers appear to be continuing with the upcoming Chapter 4 Season 2, which is set to premiere on March 10. ShiinaBR and HYPEX, two trustworthy Fortnite leakers, have claimed that Season 2 will include an Attack on Titan crossover, with Eren Yeager as the secret skin for the battle pass.

A new Mythic Waist Grappler item, similar to the ones used by the characters in Attack on Titan, is also on the way. It’s unclear how significant the potential Attack on Titan crossover will be in Fortnite, but more details should emerge as the season approaches.
