After Xavi Hernandez took charge of Barcelona last month, his primary target was Manchester City’s player Ferran Torres. Ferran Torres is a Spanish player and now he will play in the Spanish league if they go forward with the deal.
As per the rumours, Manchester city has tagged the Spanish international for 55 million euros and extra 10 million euros for potential add-ons. So, a total of 65 million euros for Torres.
Ferran Torres completes his medical test before his move to Barcelona
According to Mundo Deportivo, Ferran Torres has passed the medical test of Barcelona. Fabrizio Romano also tweeted that he has completed the medical test of Barcelona.
The deal is expected to be confirmed later today with Torres expected to be unveiled to Camp Nou tomorrow (Tuesday). But, he will not be able to play because Barcelona has reached its highest wage limits. So, Barcelona needs to reduce their wage to complete their new singings.
Manchester city’s manager, Pep Guardiola has also shown his interest to take the deal forward. Torres has been suffering from a fractured foot for a few months. But he can play in the coming year as the medical test says.
