    EURO 2020: Teams that will appear at the knockout stage!

    The EURO 2020 has given us some mouthwatering matches till now, and we saw the efficiency of legends, and also the talents of young generations. We are finally now at the pre-showdown stage, where 16 teams will collide, and the loser will get eliminated. Check out the names of those 16 teams, who have qualified for the knockout stage.

    Group A

    From Group A, Italy and Wales are qualified for the Knockout. Italy has played magnificently this season till now, and while Wales are the runners-up from the same group, good performance. Also, Switzerland has managed to acquire third place from Group A and has qualified for the next round.

    Group B

    The winners of group B, are the red devils, i.e., Belgium where the incredible Lukaku has played a significant role. Simon Kjaer’s Denmark acquired second place in the group, with their consistency, whereas Finland failed to qualify.

    Group C

    The Netherlands being the all-time black horse, came up as first from group D, after beating Austria for a score of 2-0. Austria gathered second place by defeating Ukraine by 1-0. Despite the defeat, Ukraine has also managed to qualify for the knockout stage.

    Group D

    Team England finishes as the winners of Group D, with Croatia being the second. England defeated the Czech Republic by 1-0, whereas Croatia emerged victoriously against Scotland by the score of 3-1, to gain their respective spots. Though the Czech Republic has also qualified for the next round.

    Group E

    Surprisingly Sweden finished in the number 1 position on Group E, with Spain being the runner up. Spain gave Slovakia a 5-0 defeat to gather the second spot of the group.

    Group F

    The usual favorites of the EURO 2020, France ended up being first on Group F, with Germany being the runner-up. Portugal has secured third place and has qualified for the round as well, with the last match tied against France which was 2-2.
