    EFL Cup Quarter Finals draw confirmed

    People are yet to overcome the ongoing excitement of the Qatar World Cup, and meanwhile, EFL is packed with some great action. 

    Following Manchester City’s thrilling win against Liverpool in the following last 16 games, the draw for the Carabao Cup quarter-finals has been confirmed. Pep Guardiola’s side ensured their position in the last eight and will now confront Southampton in the upcoming round. Matches will be held in the week, starting from January 9th.

    The draw for the EFL Cup quarter-finals has been confirmed  Manchester United is targeting their first silverware under the regime of Erik ten Hag and is set to face Charlton Athletic at home after getting a favorable draw. On the other hand, Nottingham Forest will be against Wolves, and Newcastle United will be competing with Leicester City.

    EFL paved the road to competitive action again for the Premier League clubs still engaged after the World Cup break. The four teams, Wolves, Southampton, Newcastle, and Leicester City, all moved ahead on Tuesday evening.

    Manchester United beat Burnley

    Brighton and Hove Albion were dissipated in the penalties against Charlton Athletic on Wednesday night, and Nottingham Forest defeated Blackburn Rovers. 

    The final draw of the last 16 saw City get a quick lead through Erling Haaland. Then, Fabio Carvalho scored the equalizer. Shortly after the break, Riyad Mahrez helped City get ahead again, but Mohammad Salah came on as the savior to equal the scores again.
