When Dead Island 2 was released, it caused quite a stir in the gaming world. This product is little more than a zombie survival game with fascinating weapons for dealing with hordes of the undead. Its release was relatively successful, and gamers who purchased the Gold Edition received access to the expansion pass as well.
When an expansion pass is included with a game, players who have access to it are usually eligible to receive any subsequent expansions for free or at a heavily discounted charge. According to information provided on the official Dead Island 2 website, the game will receive two new expansions.
The Haus and Sola Festival extensions will both be story additions. Individual storylines will most likely be included. Those who have the expansion pass will be able to play them as soon as they become available.
Those who do not have the Dead Island 2 expansion pass will have to buy both expansions whenever they become available.
The two Dead Island 2 DLCs do not yet have an official release date. According to the game’s website, the Haus addition will be ready somewhere in Q4 of 2023, while the Sola Festival expansion will be accessible in Q2 of 2024.
As the quarter’s approach, Deep Silver should share additional information about the release dates, including visual trailers and other media. Aside from these two DLCs, the developer has also added cosmetics to the game. The Till Dawn collection and the Premium Character Packs are presently available for purchase.
