The highly anticipated Season 6 update for Call of Duty Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 is just around the corner. Activision highlighted additional material planned to be released as part of this major patch in a recent blog post.
The sixth season of Call of Duty Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 will be released on September 27, 2023.
To ensure a coordinated global launch, the update will be made available at the same time around the world. As a result, players in different time zones may see differing release dates.
The next major update will include a flood of new material. Notably, as part of the Haunting event, Call of Duty Warzone 2 will provide exciting new modes. They will, however, not be included in the upcoming Season 6 update, but will be added during the mid-season patch.
With the arrival of the hell-bent anti-hero Spawn in Season 6, the battlefield receives a captivating new component. The forthcoming upgrade will also contain four new multiplayer maps as well as three new functioning weapons: the TR-76 Geist assault rifle, ISO 9mm SMG, and Dual Kamas melee weapon. All of new content will improve gameplay in both Call of Duty Warzone and MW2.
