Blizzard Entertainment will soon announce the open beta dates for Diablo 4 before its release later this year. Blizzard has been sharing a lot of new information about Diablo 4 in recent months, specifically because the game is set to release in about five months. Despite this, one lingering question that many fans have is about the open beta and its dates. While Blizzard has yet to confirm a specific date for the Diablo 4 beta, we now know where the reveal will take place.
Blizzard SVP Rod Fergusson was recently asked on Twitter when the Diablo 4 open beta will take place.
While Fergusson did not provide any additional information about the beta’s release date, he did hint that an announcement will be made “soon.” He then teased Blizzard’s participation in a gaming event later in February, where the company hopes to share this information with fans.
Blizzard will take part in IGN’s Fan Fest 2023 later this month, for those who are unaware. This showcase will take place on the 17th and 18th of February and will include various looks at upcoming games such as Hogwarts Legacy, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, Street Fighter 6, and many others. Diablo 4 is one of the games set to appear at IGN Fan Fest, and based on the tweet in question from Fergusson, it appears that this is where the open beta dates will be revealed.
