Overwatch 2 is constantly being updated by Activision Blizzard with new content, cosmetics, and more, and the Season 3 roadmap has just been revealed alongside a trailer. Overwatch 2, like the first Overwatch title, has already expanded since its release and will continue to do so with the Season 3 goodies confirmed by the latest roadmap.

The Overwatch team has confirmed several things for Season 3 of Overwatch 2, including a limited-time event and collaboration, as well as the previously teased map Antarctica Peninsula. Overwatch 2 Season 2 featured several features that enticed lapsed players to return to the game, many of which will be retained with the release of Season 3, such as skins, the Shambali Monastery map, and more.

Season 3 is expected to have a cycle of skins, emotes, and more on offer for fans with excess Overwatch Coins, similar to the rotating cosmetics shop in the first two Overwatch 2 seasons.

The Overwatch Twitter account shared a trailer revealing many aspects of the latest content drop included in the new update in anticipation of Season 3’s launch tomorrow. The brief video reveals the new Kiriko Mythic skin, which will supplement the launch hero’s limited variety of looks in comparison to the original Overwatch heroes.

The Overwatch 2 Season 3 trailer then highlights cosmetics for Ashe, D.Va, Genji, Junkrat, Junker Queen, Mei, Moira, Reaper, and Zenyatta, distinguishing which will be included in the battle pass and which will be available in the shop.

According to the official Overwatch 2 Season 3 roadmap, there will be a Valentine’s Day event centred on Cupid Hanzo, as well as a Pachi Mari-themed event with a new game mode. The Overwatch World Cup will return later this month, while a dating simulator called “LoverWatch” has been confirmed for February 13 and a collaboration with the anime One Punch Man will begin on March 7.

Aside from the aforementioned Season 3 offerings, new Twitch drops have been confirmed, a Honey Bee Mercy for the Overwatch 2 starter pack has been revealed, and the ultimate battle pass bundle includes Beekeeper Sigma in addition to tier skips and Overwatch Coins.
