Prior to that, Rojas enjoyed success at Racing de Avellaneda, where he amassed impressive stats. During his time at Racing, he was coached by Fernando Gago, who currently manages Chivas in Mexico.

    During his time at Racing Club, Rojas crossed paths with fellow Inter Miami CF teammate Tomás Avilés on eight occasions. Rojas later joined Corinthians in Brazil, making 30 appearances for the club before his move to Inter Miami.
