The Indian cricket fans are over the moon now as the T20 World Cup in Australia will be shown in the leading multiplex chain in INOX Leisure. The company recently collaborated with International Cricket Council (ICC) to live stream the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 in its cinema halls across 25 cities.
INOX Leisure has been spanned to 74 cities by 2022, with 165 multiplexes and 705 screens, and has a total of 1.57 lakh seats in India. It will be screening all of India’s all group matches and the semi-final and final; clash in the theaters.

“The live matches will be screened across INOX multiplexes in more than 25 cities,” INOX said in an official statement.
INOX’s COO Anand Vishal is very excited to give this spectacular experience to the Indian fans who will have the experience to witness the game in the shortest game on the big screen. He further added that this amazing experience will be enhancing the experience of the viewers in the T20 World Cup.
“By screening cricket in cinemas, we are bringing together the thrill of the giant screen experience and thunderous sound with the most loved sport in our country, that is cricket. The excitement and emotions of the World Cup would add to this combination, resulting in a virtual treat for cricket lovers,” said INOX Leisure Chief Operating Officer Anand Vishal
The blue army is led by Rohit Sharma and is set to face England, New Zealand, South Africa, and defending champions Australia. India won the T20 World Cup in 2007 and will be wanting to repeat this history again. They will also face their arch-rivals Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on the 23rd of October.
The T20 World Cup will start on October 16, the first match will be played between Sri Lanka and Namibia.
