The next name to join the speed force on the big screen could be Grant Gustin. After Ezra Miller’s display as Flash in Zack Synder’s Justice League sort of achieved an Oscar in the popular film category just over a week before, the DC franchise is uncertain about what to do with him. Miller, who has been playing The Flash’s role since 2016, has been arrested recently concerning disorderly behavior and harassment in Hawaii.
Warner Bros. is crawling to understand how to move ahead with Miller’s future in their movies, as suggested by recent reports.
Fans Want Grant Gustin as The Flash
Twitter seems to have the best option for this difficult circumstance: casting Grant Gustin in place of Miller. Moreover, a look at Grant Gustin’s acting career would reveal that he is the perfect fit for this role having passed nearly his entire TV career as The Flash; even a year more than Miller.
Back in 2015, in Superhero Fight Club, a short TV movie for the CW, The long-standing Flash actor started portraying the comic book role. Grant Gustin has starred in shows such as Supergirl, Vixen, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and Arrow after the same. Since 2014, he’s also appeared as Barry Allen in a standalone The Flash Series, which shall return next year for a ninth edition. Miller, on the other hand, has appeared as The Flash in three films.
Miller had his debut in the spandex in Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016, and since then was seen in Suicide Squad and Justice League. The standalone film will go on air in 2023. According to reports, the studio got an emergency call on Wednesday to have a talk about Miller’s upcoming projects.
The fans need to wait to see if Warner Bros. moves further with Gustin as The Flash.
