As, the director mentioned that it took him a total of 12 years to develop the first season of this series, and after that, it has been only one year, and they have committed themselves to a second season, with Ted Sarandos, the CEO of Netflix, mentioned that “The Squid Game universe has just begun.” The release date hasn’t been disclosed yet, but might be revealed anytime soon.
