Shehzada OTT Release Date 2023 – All You Need to Know
Shehzada, directed by Rohit Dhawan, is an action drama movie that is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, starring Allu Arjun, which was released in 2020. The film is co-produced by Haarika & Hassine Creations, Brat Films, Geetha Arts, and T-Series Films.
Despite the commercial triumph of Kartik Aaryan’s return to the big screen with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, his subsequent film Shehzada failed to replicate its success. With a box office collection of around Rs. 40 crores so far, the film has not been able to break even, falling short of its production budget.
Kartik Aaryan, who made his debut in the Hindi film industry with Pyaar Ka Punchnama in 2011, is the lead actor in Shehzada. The film also stars Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav, Ronit Roy, Sachin Khedekar, Debattama Saha, Ankur Rathee, Sunny Hinduja, Vin Rana, Ashwin Mushran, Ali Asgar, and Shalini Kapoor.
The story of Shehzada follows the journey of Bantu, played by Kartik Aaryan, who is separated from his wealthy family by his father and raised in a middle-class household. He faces various challenges and later discovers the truth about his birth, leading him to connect with his biological parents.
Shehzada Budget & Box Office collections
Shehzada had a budget of Rs. 85 crores but failed to make it to the break-even point despite making Rs. 46.75 crores worldwide. However, the film’s OTT release on Netflix is expected to give it a chance to break even.
