Redmi Note 11 series is tipped to launch in global markets with a refreshed design and Qualcomm Snapdragon chips. The series, which comprises the regular Redmi Note 11 as well as Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+, debuted in China late last month with MediaTek Dimensity SoCs. Its features include a hole-punch display design and 5G connectivity. In the lineup, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ also offer specifications including 120Hz display and up to 256GB of onboard storage.

According to a report from Thepixel, the Redmi Note 11 series will arrive in the Vietnam market in Q1 2022 as well. Interestingly, the report says the Note 11 series will have a different design and specifications for the Vietnam market. Moreover, the devices may pack in Snapdragon chipsets instead of the MediaTek Dimensity series SoC. However, it is still unclear whether the Snapdragon chipset will be exclusive to the Vietnam market.

Some reports suggest that the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset powered Redmi Note 11 series smartphones will be launched in China as well along with other countries; however, the company might change its name. The reason for replacing the MediaTek Dimensity chipsets with the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets is still not clear. We can assume that this is happening due to a shortage of chipsets at the company’s facility.

A tipster suggested that the global variants of the Redmi Note 11 lineup may have Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus and Snapdragon 695 chipsets. Poco M4 Pro 5G smartphone was launched a few days back and it is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11. The Redmi Note 11 is also tipped to launch in India as Note 11T 5G and the other two variants of the lineup, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Pro+ are rumoured to be rebranded as Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge respectively for the Indian market.

Apart from this, the report doesn’t reveal any additional information on the Redmi Note 11’s global launch. As per leaks and rumours, the Redmi Note 11 is tipped to launch in India as a rebranded Redmi Note 11T 5G. On the other hand, the Pro and Pro+ variants will reportedly debut as Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge.
