According to the reports of a Spanish publication, it is heard that the famous club Paris Saint-German, is making a move for the legendary Portuguese soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo.
After Real Madrid, Ronaldo came to Juventus, signing for 100 million Euros, and has been in this club at present for three consecutive seasons, since 2018. The Bianconeri came intending to win the Champions League for the first time, since 1996, after they signed Cristiano Ronaldo 3 years back.
But somehow the scenario didn’t go plan-wise, as the club didn’t even manage to get past the quarter-finals, in these 3 years.
Ronaldo has performed well over the years
Despite Ronaldo has been unsuccessful to give Juventus the trophy, but he has continued to prove his class. While playing for Turin, in his 133 appearances, the legend has incredibly recorded 101 goals, emerging as the Serie A Golden Boot winner, last season.
The consistency of this 36-year old winger cum striker has helped the club to win a couple of titles, along with a Coppa Italia.
Policy of Juventus
Juventus has re-assigned their ex-manager Massimiliano Allegri, who is not that eager, to renew the contract of Ronaldo and the club. Less than a year left of the present contract, it would not be a matter of astonishment, if the Portuguese player heads up to PSG or any other team.
The strategy of PSG
Some reports of the same source state that, Paint Saint-German contacted Juventus to discuss their move on the five-time Ballon d’Or winner if they could likely sign him ahead for the upcoming season. PSG, was even in a similar situation 3 years back like Juventus, when Ronaldo came there. They have proved their dominance domestically, but yet to gain a European triumph.
Moreover, they will also look for some reserves, via the transfer window, as missing out on the Ligue 1 title. But this has only been the second time in nine years, and have finished behind Lille. Besides, the club will also look for a genuine replacement for the magnificent Mbappe, who has his contract left for 1 year only.
However, PSG may not apply the risk of cashing in this summer and lose a player having a worth of nine figures, and that too on a free transfer.
