Motorola‘s upcoming flagship device, powered by the Snapdragon 898 chipset and possibly the first device to feature it, will be called the Motorola Edge X or the Edge 30 Ultra. The names will vary in different regions. Now courtesy of OnLeaks and 91Mobiles we get our first glimpse of the upcoming flagship.
The front display will be home to a 6.67″ AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. It has a flat panel, judging by the renders. The device has a 60MP front selfie shooter that is integrated into the punch-hole display.
Coming to the rear camera setup, the Motorola Edge X will have a 50MP primary shooter with an OV50A lens and a 50MP ultrawide JN1 sensor and, as per the leaks, a rather underwhelming 2MP third camera module.
The device has no telephoto lens, which is not ideal, especially on a phone with ‘Ultra’ in its name. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro had a periscope lens as well, so this is an unexpected change.
The Motorola Edge X/ 30 Ultra will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. The phone will measure 163.1×76.5×8.8mm (10.0mm, if you include the camera bump) and will be available in Gray, Blue, and possibly other colors as well.
