MediaTek has launched its Executive Summit in Laguna Beach, California today. The company has set to make a series of announcements along the week, but there is one thing that has already b been confirmed that they are going to watch MediaTek powered PCs that are run on Windows. Now the biggest question is while the plan is still in the early stages.

The Vice President of Corporate Sales and Business Development, Eric Fisher says, “Apple has shown the world that it can be done”. He also revealed that the Wintel partnership that is set to go on for so long has to be under the pressure and while there is pressure, there is an opportunity for the companies like ours.

He also has spoken about the other executives and is clear that the sentiment is that a shift b in the PC landscape from x86 to ARM is still inevitable Now just simply put  MediaTek that does not need to miss that boat and the competition is good.

Now Qualcomm starts to dominate the landscape when it comes to ARM-based Windows PCs. It has been a bumpy road also. Qualcomm has started with the Snapdragon 835 and also has such shipping of the expensive PCs that was not good. Now they come with the Snapdragon 8cx on the high end and Snapdragon 7c on the entry level.

Now it seems that that’s more likely to compete with Snapdragon 7c. We will like to say what it is already doing in the Chromebook space and also has been offered the latest price for the lower prices. Qualcomm has to face one question about the PC chipset, about the advantages that they will be able to offer.
