    Reports state that Barcelona FC is focusing on turning their academy over the other top European clubs. They are relying more on than ever this season and it is a trend that will likely go on with the return of Xavi as the new manager of the club. The legendary Barca midfielder is striking back from cutting his coaching teeth in Qatar and has raised himself now in ranks. He is well aware of the quality that dwells in the popular football school of La Masia.

    Xavi getting the opportunity to work with youngsters

    It is a good thing for Xavi as he will get an existing nucleus to work from with four young bloods debuting this season for Barcelona, including Nico Gonzalez, Gavi, Alejandro Balde, and Abde Ezzalzouli. In addition to that, Alvaro Sanz is also there, who is likely to get his opportunity under Xavi’s reign. Coming to the youngsters, Barcelona has the most compared to the other top European clubs, including Real Madrid having one, i.e., Sergio Santos and Atletico Madrid having none.
