In the earlier news, we have heard that the Manifest series has been canceled. After hearing this the fans got disappointed. But recently the creator of the series Jeff Rake has confirmed that he is sketching out a movie finale.
After the release of three seasons of the series, NBC has decided that they will not continue with the production of this series for more seasons although it has topped the watch list of Netflix’s catalog.

The series told us the story of the passengers of the flight who fly from Jamaica and had faced turbulence before landing in New York City. After this incident, five years have been passed out. Everyone thought all the passengers were dead. But some of the passengers came back and reintegrate into society. It was found that some of them experience bizarre voices and visions that seem they can predict the future.
Reasons behind the cancellation
Although the series has become a hit and topped the list of Netflix’s catalog, Reff has also planned to make six seasons. But NBC decided not to continue the production of the series the reason behind it is currently being unknown as neither the channel nor Rake have revealed them publicly.
“So, all of that hurts tremendously,” Rake told EW.
“I can’t take it personally. There are many, many factors in play. I understand that hard decisions have to be made.
“Instead, I want to channel all of my energy toward the future, toward the positive, toward a path that would allow us to finish the story.”
Will there be an ending?
Rake does not believe that there is no platform left that would be willing to fund another three seasons. But till now he is not eager to give up on this project without giving an ending to the fans. Therefore he has revealed that he will attempt to sketch out a final movie through which he will be able to give all the answers to his fans which has been raised since the news of the cancellation has been broke out.
“I had giant cliffhangers in the Season 3 finale, so I had every intention to have three more seasons to slow-burn the back half of the story,” added Rake.
“I’m reading the writing on the wall that we may not find a home for three more seasons of the show, so I moved to plan B: Some platform would bankroll a feature or a movie finale like we saw with Timeless, Firefly, and Deadwood.
“I just need a modest budget to tell the story.”
