Fabrizio Romano has shared a picture of Jorginho that the Chelsea footballer is wearing an Arsenal shirt, too, ahead of Gunner’s official confirmation of the player’s move to the club. As seen in the picture, the midfielder is standing alongside Joao Santos and his agent, along with his tracksuit bottoms, revealing his shirt number, which is 20. It was even before this leak rumors spread that he would have the 20th number in the club.
Jorginho’s deal going well with Arsenal
Reports state that the transfer of Jorginho has been going well with Arsenal internally, from the squad to staff. The Arsenal Camp feels that a player like Jorginho can bring a great tactical understanding as well as technical ability. In addition to that, his experience coming into the club will be great indeed, and he can also handle the midfield position responsibly. Players like him are ideally sought when it comes to a title challenge.
Arsenal’s deal with Chelsea
Arsenal primarily agreed on a deal with Chelsea to sign their footballer Jorginho. Reports state that the Gunners were paying 12 million pounds for the Italian midfielder, for which there would be 10 million pounds upfront and 2 million pounds in the add-ons.
Sources state that Jorginho has signed a contract till 2024, and he will also have the option to extend his contract further by a year, and personal terms regarding the same, have already been in place, as rumors also state that the footballer has also undergone a medical facility at London Colney.
Arsenal’s manager Mikel Arteta who is reportedly a big fan of the player, is excited for him to come to his club too. It is not at all surprising as they previously attempted to sign the player to their club.
