Jio Platforms said on Tuesday that it will implement Dutch chipmaker NXP Semiconductors’ series of multicore processors. Moreover, this would be used in its 5G New Radio (NR) ORAN small cell solution. This will support the new RAN network. They will also achieve a wide range of 5G through partnerships. More importantly, it will increase broadband access to cases, as well as Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things (IoT) applications.
Jio Platforms, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), said it has leveraged NXP’s Layerscape processors in its new 5G NR solution.
The new “5G radio solutions require flexibility in platform functions, efficiency and a wealth of tools, and NXP provides them. Jio Platforms and NXP have developed the most advanced radio products that are compliant with 3GPP standards and PRAY. The company has a history of working closely with NXP. Moreover, the company looks forward to further strengthening it.
Jio and NXP focus on innovation and technology leadership. Moreover, this integrated system merger demonstrates that efficient 5G for the Indian market Shared vision for NR solutions is available. In the recent Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), Jio tested its solution Homegrown 5G India’s partners. Moreover, it has achieved speeds of more than 1Gbps. Moreover, once Jio’s 5G solution has been tested in India, it will be considered for export to the global market. The company engineers have developed a comprehensive, 100% local 5G solution that is completely cloud-native, software-defined, and digitally managed.
Reliance Jio recently opened its 5G field test network in Navi Mumbai using its own 5G equipment and technology. Jio has filed for trials in Delhi, Mumbai, Gujarat and Hyderabad.
