The promoter of the Indian Super League, FDSL, or the Football Sports Development Limited has announced the first 11 round fixtures of the league for the 2021-22 campaign. The kick-off of this season will be from 9:30 PM for the Saturday doubleheaders. The schedule for the regular weekday is unchanged, and the matches will start at 7:30 PM.
The four months of power-packed actions from the ISL keeps the football much active and entertains them as well. And at present, this season of the Indian Super League will again be hosted in the three iconic stadiums of Goa. It will take place in the upcoming winter and will feature 115 games from November 19th. The first instalment of the league will go on till January 9th of 2022.
Some Fixtures
ATK Mohun Bagan will start with a face-to-face against the Kerala Blasters in the opening game. They missed the record title run by a whisker, which they probably look forward to recovering. On the other hand, SC East Bengal will start their campaign by facing Jamshedpur FC on November 21st. Also, the defending champions Mumbai City FC will lock horns with FC Goa on the next day which is regarded as one of the greatest rivalries in the Indian Super League.
Fans will get to see the derby, i.e., SC East Bengal vs Mohun Bagan on November 27th. This is one of the biggest rivalries in the history of Indian football, and fans will look forward to seeing it. Mohun Bagan played brilliantly in the last ISL season, whereas SC East Bengal was not able to deliver much. It is to be seen what happens in this clash of titans. These fixtures are announced for the first round of the Hero ISL. The fixtures for the second part of the league will be disclosed in December 2021.
