    Intel Core i7-12700H is 20% faster than Core i9-11900H on Geekbench

    The new Intel Alder Lake processors will not be limited to desktop only as finally 10nm process based new big.LITTLE architecture from Intel will make its way to laptops eventually. The upcoming Intel Alder Lake-P mobile processors have already been spotted quite a lot and even their upcoming flagship Core i9-12900HK’s Geekbench score has already been leaked.

    So, the upcoming Intel Core i7-12700H features a total of 14 cores and 20 threads, among with as you might have guessed, there are 6 Golden Cove (Small) and 8 Gracemont (BIG) cores. The leaked benchmark shows the processor runs on a Gigabyte AERO 5 XE laptop with a 2.70 GHz base clock speed and a turbo of up to 4.6 GHz, along with a 24 MB L3 cache.

    The scores are quite impressive as the Intel Core i7-12700H has managed to gather 11138 points in multi-core and a bad 1340 points in single-core. The multi-core scores are really awesome however, the single-core performance might increase over time as we know the scores of Core i9-12900HK are a whopping 13,256 points in multi-core and 1851 points in single-core.

    Well, if you compare the score of the new Core i7-12700H, it even beats out the Ryzen 7 5800X in multi-core score drawing far less power and this really excites us. After a long long time, finally, Intel’s processors are back showing their performance dominance, which is great news for enthusiasts and gamers!

    If you compare with the last-gen Core i9-11900H powered ROG Zephyrus M16, which was the best gaming laptop we tested on our main site TechnoSports, this Intel Core i7-12700H is 20% faster in multi-core. Also if compared with the Ryzen 9 5900HS powered ROG Zephyrus G14, this Core i7-12700H crushes it in multi-core, faster by a whopping 42%.
