    Indian Premier League: The price of each IPL team sold for at first by BCCI

    BCCI will certainly face a bumper Diwali this year, as the induction of two new teams in the Indian Premier League will be finalized in mid-October. Besides, BCCI will also complete the reaming matches of the IPL 2021, in September October at the UAE.

    These two things of IPL Phase two and the unfinished business of finalizing the two teams from the next season of IPL will take place in the 10th month of the year. According to the reports, the Cricket board of India will bring the tender documents for those two new teams by August and will affirm it in October.

    What will be the base price?

    The significant question as of now is what will be the base price in that tender. Till 2020, BCCI planned to keep Rs.1500 Cr as the base price of the new teams inducted in the Indian Premier League. However, as per the reports, recent investments in Rajasthan Royals have changed BCCI’s mind for its high valuation.

    Mumbai IndiansMukesh Ambani bought the team of Mumbai India for 111.9 million dollars.

    Royal Challengers Bangalore – IPL’s star team, RCB was the second costliest in this list. They were sold to Vijay Mallya for 111.6 million dollars.

    Deccan Charges – The former IPL team, and a one-time IPL champion, Deccan Charges were bought in 107 million dollars.

    Chennai Super Kings – The most popular team of the Indian Premier League, CSK was bought for $91 million.

    Delhi Daredevils – Delhi Daredevils (DD), Delhi Capitals (DC) at present were sold for $84 million.

    Kings XI Punjab – KXIP (Punjab Kings at present) was sold to Indian actress Pretty Zinta, for 76 million dollars.

    Kolkata Knight Riders – The two-time IPL champion, KKR was sold to Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan for 75.09 million dollars.

    Rajasthan Royals – The winner of the first edition of IPL, Rajasthan Royals was the cheapest on this list, sold for 67 million dollars.

    Which cities may come in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League?

    According to some reports, Ahmedabad can be one of the two teams, to appear in the 15th season of IPL. For the second number, there are many speculations. Many cities including Pune, Kochi,  Guwahati, Kanpur, Raipur, Trivandrum, Lucknow, Indore, are some of the cities, who are in contention for the two slots.
