    Ilkay Gundogan left Manchester United in shock as he hammered the quickest FA Final goal within just 12 seconds of the opening of the game for Manchester City.

    Wembley saw something dramatic as the German midfielder snapped home a sensational volley from outside the area when the game had just started, making it super exciting for the City supporters. 

    Pep Guardiola’s side kickstarted the game with Gundogan passing straight back to keeper Stefan Ortega.

    City’s no 2 stopper had fired the ball upfield as Erling Haaland won the header. However, as soon as Victor Lindelof tried clearing the ball, it deflected up off Kevin De Bruyne, and Ilkay Gundogan volleyed it to the top corner. 

    Bruno Fernandez scored the equalizer following a controversial handball decision on Jack Grealish. In the second half, City went ahead again after Gundogan volleyed his second. 

    The 32-year-old has been in outstanding form for Manchester City for the last few months, cantering important performances during crucial times as they bagged the Premier League title for the third consecutive season.

    They closed the final with a 2-1 victory, as they completed a domestic league and cup double.

    City went on with a terrific mood at Wembley as Rodri went close after Gundogan’s magical volley. They were very much dominating the possession right from the start.

    Ilkay Gundogan hammered twice against Leeds and Everton as they overturned an eight-point deficit to Arsenal and grabbed their first trophy in the quest for a historic treble.

    City will now travel to Istanbul to take on Inter Milan in the final next Saturday. They’ll be eyeing to be the first and only side since United in 1998-99 to win a treble.
